my adventure

when will i be a real adult?

My husband usually uses his car for work. Since he had training mtgs at his office, he left his car at home. I just got my driver's license last year, and I got to drive his car without his presence, taking all the 4 kids yesterday and today! After living 31 years of life, I finally felt like I was really an adult! I have to praise myself... what an adventure...
I drove to aeon mall, parked the car without hurting anybody or anything, did some grocery shopping, made a line to get dozens of eggs for 98 yen for each (you can only buy one dozen per customer, but they graciously counted my kids as well:) i got 4 dozens!!), then drove home with grumpy kids... I can't believe I had done it all by myself! Kids also worked hard, like walking by themselves and not complaining about staying at toy section and stuff... Well done kids!!
Today, I again drove to the hospital for immunization for No.3 and No.4. the cat which suddenly walked in in front of my car scared me a lot and somebody honked me for avoiding running over that silly cat, but i was still safe and alive, fortunately...
No.3 cried so hard before the shot (you should be done with immunization while they are babies...), but she knew what she had to do and went through it well. No.4 didn't even know he got a shot. not even one drop of tear, which was awesome!
Anyway, i am surprised how much i can get things done with my driver's lisence and a car... man it felt so good. of course i prefer my husband would be there to help me do all these things, but i am happy to know that i can still get things done without him like this...
