Scouting Museum

this is another memory from Texas. these photos are from when we went to Scouting Museum. When we found out that there actually are the headquarter of Boy Scout and the Scouting Museum in the city where we used to live, we were pretty excited because M(hubby) used to be a member of cub scout. M(hubby)'s father serves as a cub master today and his youngest brother is also a current member of the cub scout. So, we wanted to go visit there while in TX to see how it's like, and we did! we can get in there for free every Monday, if it hasn't been changed. If you go there on the other days I believe it costs $8 for an adult or something.

It was a pretty enjoyable place for us and little boys! And even on free Mondays, ( we visited there twice on Mondays!) there were not many customers there, so we could just play there and did whatever we wanted, pretty much. the museum inside was pretty nice too. exhibits looked new and updated and there were some fun games for the boys. M(No.1) particularly liked the car race thing. M(hubby) particularly liked the gunshooting stuff. they will give you some coins to do the　gun shooting and it was pretty fun. well we thought it was a great free FHE activity for us.

わたしたちの住んでいた町にボーイスカウトのミュージアムと、ボーイスカウトの全世界の（？）本部があるということ知り、こんなところにあったなんて！とびっくりしたわたしたち。Ｍ（父）もかつてカブスカウトの一員だったし、いまもＭ（父）のお父さんや弟がカブスカウトやったりしてるので、これはテキサスにいる間にぜひ見ておかねば！と思い行ってきました。しかも、毎週月曜日は無料なんです、この博物館は。ほかの曜日に行くと確か大人一人八ドルとか。そりゃ～月曜日に行くでしょ~！しかも行ってみたら無料の日だから混んでるかなとか思いきや、ガラガラ！さすがテキサスは広いですから・・・。

小さな男の子の子供がいるなら、かなり楽しい場所になると思います！Ｍ（長男）は何回もカーレースをやって喜んでたし、（なんかいやってもただだし、人もいないからし放題）受付でもらう博物館だけで使えるコインで、ガンシューティングしたり。これはけっこうＭ（父）が楽しんでました。展示とかも新しくてしゃれたかんじで見やすかったし、期待以上でした！やるねボーイスカウト！うちの息子たちにもやっぱり将来やらせようかなぁ～？
